Top 3 Nail Colours for Summer!

Hello everyone! Today, I will be sharing with you my top three nail lacquers for Spring and Summer. Since it's been getting a lot warmer here (30 °C) I felt the need to paint my nails something bright and fun and as I was thinking of which one to pick I came up with the idea of this blog post.

When I think of summer and spring a few colours pop in my head. A bright orange, a neon pink, a mint and an ocean blue. As you can see I don't have a blue here, because I haven't found one that I like, yet. If you have any recommendations, please comment below and tell me.

My top 3 nail varnishes are Crush on You by Orly, Re-Fresh Mint by China Glaze and last but not least Fancy Fuchsia by Orly. The latter has been featured again on my blog here. Crush on You is a beautiful bright orange, which unfortunately is quite sheer. It certainly looks brighter in the bottle rather than on the nails. You need about three coats to make it look decent, but it's very shiny. This was the colour that was on my nails two weeks ago and I've posted a photo of my nails with it on Instagram.

Re-Fresh Mint is what I have on my nails at the moment and I've posted a photo on Instagram with it, again. This isn't sheer, but with three coats, like what I have on my nails, it looks flawless. I used a different base coat on my nails this time and it made the first coat's application of the colour streaky, but I don't remember having this problem with it before, so the base coat is to blame. The actual colour is a pretty, pastel mint with a slight green hint.

Fancy Fuchsia is a neon dark pink, that is a lot brighter than in the picture above. It's just a beautiful Barbie bright fuchsia. I haven't worn this on my nails for a long time, but I remember that the last time I used it, the first coat was a bit streaky, but the second coat fixed it. I've also noticed that this shade will get slightly more orangey as the days go by. In addition, this lacquer has a more matte finish than the other two. This is the next colour that I'll paint my nails with.
